Nestled in the heart of Miami Beach, Florida, our botanical garden is a hidden gem—a lush, tropical oasis filled with the fragrance of frangipani, ylang-ylang, and jasmine. Spanning three acres, the garden's natural beauty and privacy create a perfect setting for your special event or wedding.
A Landscape Masterpiece
Our garden was redesigned in 2011 by the renowned Raymond Jungles, thanks to a $1.2 million renovation. The landscape now features native Florida plants and trees, including bromeliads, palms, cycads, orchids, and more, showcasing the best of South Florida's flora.
Event Spaces
- Ceremony Areas:
- Banyan Lawn: Overlooking a majestic 100-year-old banyan tree, ideal for intimate ceremonies.
- Great Lawn: Perfect for larger ceremonies.
- Japanese Garden: Accommodates up to 40 guests, standing room only.
- Reception Areas:
- Great Lawn: Ideal for large tented affairs, complete with a dance floor, stage, and dining area. The lawn connects seamlessly to a spacious courtyard patio, perfect for cocktails and appetizers. The patio features the Lapidus Fountain, surrounded by palms and a large koi pond, creating a picturesque setting by day and a magical ambiance by night.
- Indoor Venue:
- Banyan Room: Boasts a lofted ceiling, chandeliers, stone tile flooring, and large sliding glass doors that open onto a covered terrace with permanent waterproof sailcloth.
Our garden can accommodate over 250 guests and is approved for tenting throughout the space. Whether you're planning an intimate ceremony or a grand reception, the Miami Beach Botanical Garden offers a variety of stunning settings to make your event unforgettable.

The wedding venue that made my friends jealous
One last bit of advice, if you're having a late night wedding, add the 40/100 clear tent in the great lawn to bring it all together. Guests were able to still enjoy the Gardens while eating dinner with no threats of rain to worry about.

Rays Of Light has illuminated this tropical oasis of a venue several times in the last year or so. The garden is perfect for any size wedding big or small. Outdoors or indoors, But outdoor photos are a must before your wedding ceremony.This venue is also the best deal in South Beach . I have heard this time again. And never have I seen a more dedicated man than Maurice Jackson who helps in so many ways with all of your venue needs . Even on the evening of your event, he personally stays until the very end and insures that everything goes off without a hitch. Most day of planners do not even do that! I fully indorse this venue and I always recommend this venue to all of my clients and friends looking for a beautiful place to get married in South Beach. Book early because this place is starting to get very popular. But having said this . The Botaincal Garden allows only one wedding reception per evening. So the place is yours!
