Whichever island you are on, newly engaged couples can take their pick of just about any wedding style – from tying the knot at a world class beach resort, to celebrating on a sunset boating excursion out on the ocean. You can even get married with your bare toes in the sand!

Island Wedding Venues in Hawaii

Hawaii residents are surrounded by beautiful beaches and so it’s hard not to at least consider a beach wedding as a potential wedding venue in Hawaii. Couples can opt for all the traditional wedding event fixings by choosing one of the fabulous (and plentiful) beachfront resort hotels, or they can simply walk out into the sand – anywhere along the spectacular coastline – with their closest friends and family. (Just remember to choose the right wedding shoes for this one – or, perhaps, wear no shoes at all!) Whether you opt for a beach club, ocean front villa, or wide open space near the sea, we have no doubt that your waterfront wedding (and the resulting wedding photos) will be absolutely amazing with the Pacific Ocean as your backdrop. But don’t forget that Hawaii is also filled with fantastic flora, making the possibility of a tropical garden wedding another great option.

Selecting Your Tropical Hawaii Wedding Venue

First, we highly recommend establishing a Wedding Checklist to manage all of your wedding related to-dos. Then, after doing some initial online research, we suggest visiting the most promising wedding venue(s) in Hawaii. During your visit, ask about availability on your preferred wedding date(s). Also, find out how many wedding guests can be accommodated. It may also be helpful to see potential setup options for both the reception and ceremony. Be sure to discuss wedding packages, catering options, and the possibility of bringing in outside vendors such as wedding photographers and florists, if desired.
